Safety flooring has many uses from shop floors, factory floors, toilet areas, school, hospitals etc it can be laid flush to the skirtings or walls or alternately it can be dressed up the wall coveing it in place of the skirting, it can be used to form shower areas in wet rooms.

 

Its non slip attributes make it ideal for areas that get wet and safety is an issue stairs, wash areas toilets etc are ideal areas for safety flooring to be installed.

 

There are a number of different types of safety flooring certain types are ideal for bare foot areas such as shower areas changing rooms etc where bare foot contact needs a better grip in wet conditions, other types offers a non slip resistance in trafficked areas where shoes etc are worn, then there's a slip resistant type that offers a resistance to slip not to be confused with non slip 

 

Each type of flooring will have a R or EN number  which  gives an indication as to its slip resistance.
